This course is deisgned to help legal staff at ORR-funded organizations understand the I-730 process for Afghan asylees. The course explains all aspects of the I-730 process, along with samples and job aids that you can download. If you work at an ORR-funded organization and you are either an attorney or an accredited representative, or you work under the supervision of an attorney or accredited representative, this course will help you understand and navigate the I-730 process with your Afghan asylee clients.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
• Determine clients’ eligibility to file an I-730
• Explain the entire I-730 process to clients
• Prepare and submit an I-730 package
